    No! We welcome vendors from all across Canada. The Calgary membership is just an option for those who want to advertise in our local Facebook group.

  3. Do I need my own website to sell on TVM?
    No, TVM replaces the need for a personal website. Your shop is hosted on our platform, making it easy to manage everything in one place.

Membership & Pricing

  1. What’s the difference between the $150 and $350 memberships?
    The $150/year membership is for vendors outside Calgary and includes a shop on TVM. The $350/year membership is for Calgary vendors who also want access to our 26,000+ member Facebook shopping group.

  2. Do you take a commission on sales?
    No! TVM operates on a simple annual fee. You keep 100% of your profits.

  3. Is there a payment plan available?
    At this time, we don’t offer a payment plan. TVM is a small business too, and hosting a new vendor comes with costs. Our membership fee is already priced to be one of the most affordable options out there, and your fee helps us manage our own cash flow so we can continue supporting makers like you for the long run. Your investment in TVM ensures that we’re here to grow alongside you!

Selling on TVM

  1. How do I set up my shop?
    After signing up, you’ll receive a step-by-step guide to set up your store and upload your products. Plus, we have lots of demo videos to walk you through it.

  2. Can I list unlimited products?
    Yes! There’s no limit to the number of products you can add to your shop.

  3. How will customers find my shop?
    TVM organizes shops by location, so shoppers looking to support makers in their area can easily find you. Many customers prioritize buying local, and our marketplace makes that simple.

    We also recommend redirecting your existing website URL to your TVM shop. This way, your customers experience a seamless transition, and they won’t even notice the difference. Plus, if you ever decide to move in a different direction, your URL is still yours to use however you like. It’s a risk-free way to simplify your online presence while keeping control of your brand.

  4. How do I handle orders and shipping?
    You manage your own inventory and shipping. We provide best practices and tips to streamline the process.

  1. What if I need help setting up or have questions?
    You’re not dealing with some big, faceless company—I’m Sally, and I built TVM because I believe in this. I want it to work for you, and if something isn’t right, tell me, and I’ll do my best to fix it.

    You’re also joining a community of vendors who have been where you are. They’ve set up their shops, figured things out, and are happy to share what they’ve learned. Whether you need help getting started, have questions, or just want to connect with other makers, you’re not in this alone. Reach out—I’m here, and so is the community.

  2. Can I cancel my membership?
    Memberships are non-refundable, but you’ll have full access for the entire year. You can cancel after that.

  3. Are there any restrictions on what I can sell?
    TVM is focused on handmade, artisanal, and small-batch products. If you’re unsure if your products qualify, just ask!
